Default NETGEAR, Entropic announce MoCA to Ethernet bridge for consumer purchase

This is really great news.

I've been experimenting for a couple years now with alternative network technologies, to get around a "major modifications ban" on my rented townhouse. I've tried nearly every major powerline option, as well as wireless, phoneline, and coax networking methods. The one that was by far the most promising was MoCA. I bought 4 Motorola NIM100 bridges from eBay and have found them to be solid units that can basically be left alone for months and they continue to run just fine. No other option came close.

DLink teased us by announcing a MoCA bridge about a year ago - maybe they should get a Vaporware award for this? It will be really great if Netgear actually gets this device on shore shelves.
