RAIDzilla: DIY RAID5 NAS with Attitude

Hi Terry, is the RAIDZilla very noisy and what's the power consumption like?
I am thinking of building one as it seems that the shelf life will be longer and will have much more control over the storage and apps.

Noticed you have the cost update and which is very good info! Bravo.

Given it has been a year since your build it, if you were to rebuild/build it this year, what will be your recommended hardware? Cidesign SR316 seems to be very good..
