Because I am using my 2 Zyxel PLA407s to connect my primary wireless router to a second router/AP, the homeplugs never enter power saving mode as the ethernet connection is always active. This is because the secondary router/ap is always powered up.
How significant is the power consumption difference between the sleep mode of the homeplugs and this "standby" ethernet connection that I have?
Any help appreciated. I don't ever see a means for them to go into power saving mode if the router is broadcasting.
