Looking to replace my favorite old dinosaur who's wall wart has failed after 10 years of continuous service. The router still works well for my uses but I am thinking of updating to something a bit more...recent.
Reading through the reviews here I am thinking of following the herd and going with either the RT-n66u or WNDR 4500 but I am concerned about lifespan.
Seeing that these new devices run hotter, can I actually expect to get anywhere near the service life of my old faithful USR?
