lease expired help!

hey guys, check out the attached png file, its a shot of the web ui stating the lease renewing and expired, waited for a long time and never renewed. after a day the internet slows down like crazy. any settings i might not be aware of? i switched the "connection status" off then back on, the internet speed goes back to normal. what should i do?
