So, your /dev/sda1 is mounted on /tmp/mnt/HD but isn't shown by df command.
This mean that FileSystem is corrupted.
Unmount it and run fsck:

# e2fsck -fv /dev/sda1

Will take some time to finish.
After that mount it again and check it.

Hmm, do you really recommend to us e2fsck for checking a NTFS formatted drive???

I would suggest to connect the HDD to a Windows PC and to run the check there.
