there is a function named "iSCSI ODD."
you can set Blu-ray drive in NAS as iSCSI Target storage.
and you can access from PC or Mac with iSCSI initiator.
Probably there is a bundled burning software in the package, which is tested.

Specifically - I have my wedding video which was filmed in HD on my iMac.
Now - obviously I can stream the HD version round the house
And I've created a nice DVD, which plays in standard DVD players (i.e. with menus etc, not a data dvd) - but DVD does the quality of the source video no good
So I would love to be able to author a Blu-Ray version (again not just simply storing a large video file on the disc, I could do this direct from the NAS to the drive)
Essentially adding a Blu-Ray recorder to my iMac; and basically becoming a fantastic piece of equipment with hundreds of great uses.
