Default Home internet service computer

Hi,

I would like to set up a computer dedicated to internet services like p2p, Ftp and Webserver but in the mean time I would like to not compromise my home lan. Which is the best solution? Dual lan network, DMZ, other?

Regards

Ugo

Either way will work. "Best" depends on what you have and what you need to buy. Here's one way to do it:
How To: One Internet connection - Two Private LANs

Hi,

I read the article and i try to undestand it. my home network is made in this way

a Us9108 router
3 computer linked to internet by lan (home computer)
2 wi-fi extender (heavy wall problem) (US Robotitcs range max)
1 notebook link by the wi-fi
2 Office computer linked via lan to one of the two extender

all are the same ip class

I would like to add an "internet server".

A solution could be the latest netgear router, Which swich can do what the image shown in the image in the article (maybe ready for teaming support)?

Having a second lan on the internet server with same ip class of the private lan will degrade the security?
