One thing I don't think I've seen much of on SNB is any review or even mention of SansDigital products. They have quite an array of stuff, from entry level DAS, NAS and SAN devices (some of them do iSCSI), right up the scale to pricey rack-mount multi-terabyte SANs and RAID arrays. They also have some rather imaginative stuff. For instance, wouldn't it be fun to use this:

to make a RAID-1 array of IBM micro-drives? Just for fun?

Yeah, for fun. Too bad it's 2.5" format. Most BYOD NASes take 3.5" format.

SansDigital pinged me a few months back about an attached drive product, a category we don't cover. I asked them about their NASes, but they didn't seem ready to supply product.

Their distribution seems limited, which usually causes me to hold back on a review. Our reviews are a lot of work and when people can't find/ buy the product it's frustrating for both of us.
